After more than a decade in the field, I have come to see software engineering as an ongoing exploration rather than a fixed specialization. I learn by digging into source code, understanding underlying layers, and tracing problems back to low level mechanisms, even when that means working in unfamiliar languages or tools.
I approach design with a sense of mechanical sympathy, paying attention to how systems are designed to be used and where their limits lie. I focus more on patterns, constraints, and performance characteristics than on frameworks. Go is the language in which I am most proficient, and I value its ability to stay close to the machine while remaining readable and pragmatic.
Living in Annecy since 2020, I value balance and long term sustainability, both in systems and in teams. I tend to bring a calm presence to collaborative environments and help keep interactions simple and constructive when complexity grows.
Experience
Lead Developer
Lead backend developer for Flunter, a B2B SaaS platform for outbound sales and parallel dialing, working in a small team with direct ownership of backend architecture and infrastructure.
- Own backend architecture, data modeling, and API contracts for a Symfony + PostgreSQL platform.
- Coordinate concurrency-heavy call flows with Twilio, handling unordered webhooks and real-time state.
- Design queueing, batching, pub/sub, and single-writer patterns to keep latency low at scale.
- Balance PHP performance constraints with async processing and predictable system behavior.
- Operate Docker-based deployments on self-hosted VPS with Dokploy, plus secrets and backups.
- Build CI/CD with GitHub Actions for multi-env testing and reproducible releases.
- Integrate observability (logs, metrics, dashboards), Cloudflare edge, and NetBird VPN.

Focused on the rebuild of Salomon's e-commerce platform on a MACH architecture with a Next.js frontend hosted on Vercel, aligning delivery practices with performance, SEO, and cost constraints.
- Studied and documented Next.js rendering modes (SSR, SSG, ISR, CSR, Partial Prerendering) and their production behavior.
